Nido Studio (also operating as Nido Creative Studio) is a creative studio based in Oslo, Norway. This policy explains what personal information we collect through nidocreativestudio.com, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it. We keep this deliberately short because we collect very little.

What we collect

We collect two kinds of information.

Information you give us directly. When you fill in the contact form, we receive the name, email address and any message details you choose to send us. We only receive what you type into the form.

Information collected automatically. Our website is built on Wix. Wix and the tools we use set cookies and collect basic technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device information and how you move through the site. This happens through the platform, not through anything we run ourselves.

We do not have user accounts, we do not sell products through the site, and we do not process any payment information.

Why we collect it and our legal basis

We use the contact form information for one reason only: to read your enquiry and reply to it. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who reach out, and taking steps at your request before entering into a possible working relationship.

We use cookie and technical data to keep the site working and to understand, in aggregate, how it is used. Strictly necessary cookies run on the basis of legitimate interest. Any analytics or non essential cookies run only with your consent, which you give through the cookie banner and can withdraw at any time.

We do not use your information for marketing or newsletters, because we do not run any.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it with third parties for their own purposes.

Your information is handled by the services that make the website and our communication work:

Wix, which hosts the website and processes the contact form.

Google, because the contact form enquiries reach us by email in a Gmail inbox.

These providers act on our behalf as processors. Some of them are based outside Norway and the European Economic Area, including the United States, so your information may be transferred there. Where that happens, the transfer relies on the safeguards those providers put in place, such as the European Commission standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep contact form enquiries for as long as needed to answer you and, where a conversation leads somewhere, for the duration of our working relationship and a reasonable period afterwards for our records. Enquiries that do not lead anywhere are deleted once they are no longer relevant. If you want your message deleted sooner, just ask.

Your rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation you have the right to:

Ask what personal information we hold about you and receive a copy of it.

Ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete.

Ask us to delete your information.

Ask us to restrict or object to how we use it.

Withdraw your consent at any time, where we relied on consent.

If you believe we have handled your information wrongly, you also have the right to complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority, Datatilsynet, at datatilsynet.no.
